[PURPOSE OF THE POSITION]

Reporting to the Head of Finance and Compliance, and working in close cooperation with MSF’s Shared IT Services team (SITS), the IT Manager will be responsible for the delivery and planning of IT and IT security strategies, policies and processes for the MSF Korea office related to hardware and network infrastructure and Office365 environment.

 

[MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES]

  • Define and plan the ICT objectives and strategies for MSF Korea
  • Provide IT support to local staff especially with hardware management and network infrastructure
  • Cooperate and support SITS in its provision of IT software support to MSF Korea.
  • Plan, carry out and monitor systems operations so as to guarantee the proper function and availability of the systems and applications of MSF Korea.
  • Plan, carry out and monitor the procedures regarding systems security to meet the security standards established by the security policy.
  • Manage the security guidelines for the information systems in MSF Korea.
  • Ensure efficient and functioning telecommunications for the organization.
  • Cooperate with HFC (Head of Finance and Compliance) to implement, monitor and update the policies related to IT and data protection to comply with internal/external requirements by providing knowledge as an IT expert.
  • Establish the budget for IT and monitor the actual spending to ensure planned needs and anticipate costs under your responsibility.
  • Manage and monitor lifecycle of assets from purchasing to disposal including laptops, IT licenses, telecommunication and other technical facilities.
  • Appropriate procurement of assets and IT vendor selection and manage the vendors to implement IT environment in MSF Korea Office.
  • Support with adhoc projects that require expert IT input and support.

[QUALIFICATIONS AND JOB REQUIREMENTS]

1. ESSENTIAL SKILL

  • Minimum 5 years of work experience in IT support including trouble shooting of hardware, Office 365, Microsoft Office, Windows 10, and Wi-Fi access points
  • University degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
  • Fluent in Korean and English (written and verbal)
  • Strong technical skills and knowledge of IT infrastructure (Network, Active Directory, Servers, Azure) and support best practices
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Excel, PowerPoint, and Word
  • Experience with exchange admin centers to manage Active directory, O365 account, Azure, Powershell
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Result and detail oriented
  • Service oriented, with a positive, Can Do Attitude
  • Strong teamwork and interpersonal skills

 

2. DESIRABLE SKILLS

  • Planning and budget management
  • Experience of vendor management
  • Knowledge and Experience of Information security
  • Experience in a non-for-profit organization
